PURPOSE:To suppress an initial oscillation and to shorten preliminary movement distance through simple constitution, by cutting off a driving force temporarily after transmitting the driving force for a specific time, and then transmitting the driving force continuously when starting the movement of a scanning system. CONSTITUTION:When an original placing plate 2 starts scanning, a clutch mechanism 3 is turned on to transmit the driving force for a time T1 and then the driving force is cut off for a time T2; and the driving force is transmitted continuously thereafter. In this case, T1 and T2 are about 10ms. Consequently, the initial oscillation is suppressed and the preliminary movement distance is shortened by the simple constitution. |
