PURPOSE:To reduce the load of a computer by a process input transmitting method for control of computer, by generating and transmitting independently a reading end signal by an input transmitter itself with no execution of a computer program. CONSTITUTION:An input signal supplied from an external process passes through an input signal line 11 and is held at an input signal holder 3. A reading command given from a computer 10 passes through a command transmission line 6 and is transmitted to a controller 4 of an input transmitter 1. The controller 4 incorporates a microporcessor and reads the contents of the holder 3 when receiving a reading command to sent them to the computer 10. At the same time, the controller 4 transmits a reading end signal to the external process through an informing line 12. This eliminates the need for transmission of an end signal from the computer 10 and therefore reduces the load of the computer 10. |
