PURPOSE:To smooth suction and exhaust operation and to prevent the creation of noise and vibration, by a method wherein a rotor consists of a block having a sectional contour formed by an endless curve which is formed such that circular arcs, positioned at apexes of a regular triangle, are connected to each other through the medium of recess circular arcs each curving inwardly. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 2 consists of a block having a sectional contour shown by an endless curve which is formed such that circular arcs (a), positioned at apexes of a regular triangle, are connected to each other through the medium of recess circular arcs (b) each curving inwardly. When the rotor 2 is turned with its center axis 3 connected to another driving mechanism, fluid is sucked in a cavity part, formed with a housing and each recess circular arc (b), via a suction pipe 6 through the working of a movable vane 4 and is discharged through a discharge pipe 7. In this case, the rotor 2 is inhibited from eccentrical rotation, whereby a pump is prevented from creation of noise and vibration, performs smooth suction and discharge, and the forced contact power of the movable vane 4 is reduced and reciprocating movement thereof is smoothed, resulting in eliminating the need for internal oil when used as a vacuum pump. |
