PURPOSE:To simplify the removal and installation of a shelf for covering the rear cargo compartment, provided with electrical accessories, of a hatchback type automobile, and as well to enhance the intermittent life of electrodes, by providing electrodes each having resiliency to both ends of the shelf, and as well, providing vehicle side electrodes in the positions opposing the first-mentioned electrodes. CONSTITUTION:When a rear parcel shelf 31 is attached to a vehicle body, a barrel part 38 is pushed into a storing chamber 33, overcoming a spring 42, and the outer end of an electrode part 39 is pressingly contacted to the inner surface of a curved part 74. Further, when the barrel part 38 is completely stored into a storing section 68, folded parts 59, 64 are restored so that the barrel part 38 is held therebetween. Simultaneously, the outer end of the electrode is pressingly contacted to the inner surface of a vertical wall part 73 by means of the spring 42. As a result, an electrical wire 52 is connected to an electrical wire on the side of a control unit. Then, the shelf 31 is rotated to be set on the bottom surface of a recess part, and a rope is connected to a backdoor so that the insallation of the shelf 31 on the vehicle body side is completed. Accordingly, no connector is necessary, the installation and removal of the shelf are simplified, and the durability with respect to the intermittency between electrical accessories and the control units is enhanced. |
