PURPOSE:To insert a large number of tubes at once in a short time, by arranging sterically plural tubes in the front of a tube plate of a vessel in which a large number of tubes are parallely installed, and pushing the tubes from their backs into tube holes. CONSTITUTION:After arranging sterically plural tubes 11 in the front of a tube plate 2, a pushing dolly 8 is moved leftward to push the tubes 11 from their backs through a push-in plate 9, thereby guides attached respectively to the tips of the tubes 11 are firstly pushed into tube holes 6. Successively the tubes 11 are pushed into the holes 6. When the tubes 11 are pushed into the holes 6, respective spacers 10 are moved leftward, and all of them are gathered at the front of the tube plate 2. Then all the spacers are removed by retreating the dolly 8 a little. After removing the spacers 10, the rear parts of the tubes 11 protruding from the plate 2 are pushed in till the rear ends of the tubes 11 come to the front of the plate 2 by advancing the dolly 8 again, thus the operation is finished. |
