PURPOSE:To cool rotor blades and a disk by providing passages in the moving blades and disk of a turbine and allowing the operating fluid on the low pressure side of the disk to flow outward through these passages by means of the centrifugal force. CONSTITUTION:A lateral passage 7 is formed in the disk 1 of a turbine at a position corresponding to each moving blade 2 and the high pressure side is closed with a plug 8. In addition, a radial-direction passage 9 is formed in the disk 1 and communicated to a radial-direction passage 11 formed in the moving blade 2 and a shroud ring. When a turbine rotor is rotated, the steam on the low pressure side of the disk 1 is sucked into the passage 7 by means of a pump effect due to the centrifugal force and discharged to the outside of the shroud ring 5 through the passages 9, 11. |
