PURPOSE:To decide accurately whether an image is good or not by an accurate reproduced image, by performing quantization on a basis of the width and the length of a dot matrix and determining the dot of a cell width in accordance with a qantization result. CONSTITUTION:A complex part of picture information subjected to Fourier conversion is quantized by assuming the width Nx and the length Ny of a dot matrix cell E as a phase and an amplitude quantizing levels respectively, and as the result, the dot position of the cell E is determined in accordance with an LP and an LH and is binarized to store. When stored contents are read out and are subjected to reverse Fourier conversion to form a reproduced image, an accurate reproduced image including noise entirely is obtained. By this accurate simulation independent of a higher-order diffraction image, a phase error, etc., it is checked and decided accurately whether or not the reproduced image of the calculating hologram is good. |
