PURPOSE:To detect whether or not a tape is run and whether or not the tape is set, by monitoring whether or not the running system of tape is in operation. CONSTITUTION:When the tape is run, a reel stand is turned and a signal attended by running is generated with a Hall element provided under the reel stand. A microprocessor monitors the state when this signal is generated. When the stopping of signal is detected, it is discriminated that the tape is at the originator at the end. In setting the device to the automatic answering mode, the microprocessor commands to wind up once the tape. A counter circuit is started at the same time. When a signal is being generated from the tunning system of the tape even after a prescribed time is elapsed, the microprocessor discriminates that the tape is not set to the device. |
