PURPOSE:To attain communication between a private data branch and other private data branch, by transmitting a public network number, when the public network numer of an incoming private data exchange transmitted from an outgoing private data branch and an extension number of the incoming private data branch are received. CONSTITUTION:An extension connection controller 11 transmits an extension connection end signal (j) to be received to a central controller 61. The controller 61 receiving the signal (j) returns a connection end signal f1 to a corresponding outgoing private data terminal 4 from a terminal line controller 5 and sets a channel between a public line 9 and the branch 4 to a switch 7. Thus, a channel via a private data exchange 3, a public line 9, a public data exchange network 1, a public line 9', and an private data exchange 3' between the outgoing private data branch 4 and the imcoming private data branch 4' is formed and the branches 4, 4' transfer mutually data g1. |
