PURPOSE:To rapidly and stably recover the speed drop of a motor generator at the load time of the generator by calculating the optimum initial pole position and the high speed electrode driving time for accelerating from the present motor speed to the target speed in the minimum time. CONSTITUTION:An initial electrode position controller ISR reads out a detecting speed omega and an electrode position signal P of the secondary liquid resistor 8 of an induction motor for driving a motor generator 3 when the difference DELTAomega between a target speed omegaref and the detecting speed omega is the prescribed positive value alpha or higher, calculates the optimum electrode position Pref for accelerating the generator 3 at the rated current of a motor, and calculates the high speed electrode drive time (t) to the optimum electrode position. The high speed electrode drive circuit 7 is operated during the time (t). Thereafter, the electrode position of a liquid resistor 8 can be controlled by a speed controller ASR and the current controller ISR. |
