The electrical conductors 14 of the cable 12 of the invention are embedded at the centre of a traction member held by a wrapping 18, 18a. The traction member 16, consisting of individual filaments is subdivided into various support filament bundles, one of which is already bonded to the electrical conductors 14 before assembling and wrapping the cable 12. The cable or the wire of the invention is used for the transmission of signals between a control station and a moving missile. <IMAGE>
