A process for casting a glass fibre-reinforced enclosure of polyester, in particular for the installation of electrical switchgear and measuring instruments, is described, a loose-voluminous glass fibre mat being laid in the mould and the mould subsequently filled with the casting composition in such a way that the structure of the glass fibre mat is not destroyed.
