The invention relates to an electrical machine structure, namely rotors of electrical machines. The rotor of an electrical machine contains a supporting body (3) with a superconducting excitation winding (6) which is provided with radially directed channels (8) for the circulation of the coolant. Distribution channels (12) are designed in the supporting body (3) above the superconducting excitation winding (6). A collector (13) is constructed in the supporting body (3) underneath the superconducting excitation winding (6). Also designed in the supporting body (3) are overflow channels (15) which are thermally insulated from the superconducting excitation winding (6) and are aligned radially. The distribution channels (11,12) are connected to the collector (13) by means of the channels (8) for the circulation of the coolant and additionally by means of the overflow channels (15). <IMAGE>
