If materials to be unloaded are raised, moved and set down by a crane, the pivoting and positioning of the load hook must take place as quickly as possible. For this purpose, a radio-controlled, pivotable load hook arrangement with battery is provided, so that the load hook can be radio-controlled from a remote location by the crane driver during loading and unloading of the material to be unloaded. The load hook arrangement has a hook-type bottom block (3), mounted such that it can pivot horizontally in it, a rope sheave (2), by which a load rope can be wound up and unwound, an electric direct-current motor with reduction gear and a hydraulic motor for pivoting the hook, and a control, which is equipped with a battery and a radio receiver. When the radio signals are transmitted to the radio receiver by operating a transmitter (14), the signals received switch the control on and off in order to actuate the electric motor with reduction gear or the hydraulic motor in such a way that the hook (3) fastened underneath the arrangement can be optimally pivoted.
