PURPOSE:To change a registration mode to a return article registration mode, and to issue a return article sheet by a specific key input, and to recover the mode to the registration mode, by inputting the same code as a preset code for return article registration when the mode is the registration mode. CONSTITUTION:A keyboard 5 is provided with a ten-key 51, department key 52, X key 53, subtotal key 54, receipt/cash total key 55, etc., and an input from the keyboard 5 is supplied to a CPU1, RAMs 2 and 3, ROM4, etc. Further, a switch interface 12 is connected to a control switch 6 for switching various operation modes and thus an ECT is constituted. When this switch 6 is placed at a registration mode side, the input of the key 51 is stored in a specific register buffer memory of the RAM2. Then, the mode is changed from the registration mode to the return article registration mode with the X key 53, a return article sheet is issued by operating the ten-key 51, department key 52, etc., and the mode is recovered to the registration mode. |
