In the pivot-bearing fastening of flap hinges on vehicle bodies, it is proposed, particularly to make it easier to mount the body equipment during vehicle production, to design the pivot-bearing fastening in such a way that it can have two positions which differ from one another and of which the first position defines a mounting position of the flap and the second position defines an operating position of the flap, for which purpose there is provided for fixing the hinge pivot bearing in its operating position a fork latch which is mounted rotatably on the vehicle body and which is held at least in its blocking position by means of a spring force. <IMAGE>
