PURPOSE:To couple the exit part of an optical fiber both mechanically and optically to a light control body by forming the light exit part of a screw-like Fresnel lens to the optical fiber and forming an internal screw-like photodetection part ot the light control body. CONSTITUTION:A light exit part 4 consisting of a screw-like Fresnel lens 4a formed on the side face and a projecting lens 4b at the forward end is formed to the forward end of an optical fiber 2. A light control body 3 consists of a transparent material such as a transparent plastic or transparent glass formed to a desired shape, for example, an egg shape, and has a photodetection part 3c consisting of a side face in common use as an internal screw 3a to be screwed with the Fresnel lens 4a formed on the side face of the exit part 4 and a bottom surface 3b having a recessed surface corresponding to the lens 4b. An optical fiber 3d communicating with the surface from said photodetection part 3c is embedded in the photodetection part. The exit part 4 is screwed to the photodetection part 3c of the body 3 and is thereby mechanically and optically coupled thereto. |
