PURPOSE:To make the insertion of optical fiber cores easy, by forming a title connector in such a way that the plural optical fiber cores are simply required to be inserted into the tapered guide hole and fiber through-holes provided on the rising wall of a ferrule base plate. CONSTITUTION:The sheath, and covering of an optical fiber 1 and the covering of the optical fiber cores 1d are successively stripped off to expose the optical fibers at the front end. The cores 1d are passed through the tapered guide hole on the rising wall of a ferrule base plate 10 and the fibers 1e are pushed and penetrated into fiber through-holes 26. Since the tapered guide hole and the holes 26 are short, the pushing is easily accomplished. Adhesive agents are filled in grooves 22, 20, 18, 16, whereafter a keep cover is pressed and at the point of the time when the adhesive agents set, the multicored connector is completed. |
