PURPOSE:To prevent a toner resin from attaching and sticking to the surfaces of a carrier and a photosensitive plate, by incorporating an epoxy compd. and epoxy-modified 1,2-polybutadiene. CONSTITUTION:The toner contains an epoxy compd. contg. at least one epoxy group in the molecule, epoxy-modified 1,2-polybutadiene, and a colorant. Said polybutadiene has the general formula on the right in which n is an integer of 1-200, and m is an integer of 1-20. Said polybutadiene having 50,000-500,000 number average mol.wt., and a powder or such as solid type pellets is used. The content of epoxy groups of said polybutadiene can be generally expressed by epoxy equiv., and in this invention, it is desirable to have <=1,000 epoxy equiv., i.e., >=0.1 epoxy value. |
