PURPOSE:To provide a rubber relief printing for letterpress suitable for printing on an elastic body such as corrugated bardboard, wherein a laminate rubber obtained by laminating a natural raw rubber and a synthetic raw rubber followed by pressing to adhere the rubbers to each other is placed on a matrix, and after pressing with heating, the resultant material is taken out, and a part on the outside of projected parts of the raw rubber is released. CONSTITUTION:A plate form natural raw rubber 1 and a plate form synthetic raw rubber 2 are laminated and pressed to each other to form a two-layer laminate rubber 3, which is laied on the matrix 4, and is pressed with heating by a hot press 5, whereby the rubber 1 on the matrix 4 side is melted and caused to flow into recesses 6 of the matrix 4. After the melted part is hardened, the laminate rubber 3 is taken out from the matrix 4, cuts 8 are formed by a cutter on the outside of the projected parts 7 produced by the melting and flowing of the natural raw rubber 1, and the part of the rubber 9 on the outside of the projected parts 7 is released. EFFECT:A rubber relief printing letterpress with a large step can be inexpensively produced by using a thin original plate. |
