A plastic glazing unit for inclined outer surfaces of a building structure comprises identical glass panels (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d) having an outline form of an equal-sided square. In order to ensure the required water tightness without hindering expansion compensation, the glass panels (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d) have four edge-parallel cames (2, 3) of which two cames (3) form an inwardly open hollow profile, by which they engage over the two other cames (2) of the adjoining glass panels. The cames (3) forming the hollow profile are connected to one another and to the adjoining cames (2) by in each case a hollow, inwardly open crossing piece (4, 5, 6), the graduated size of the crossing pieces (4, 5, 6) having the effect that the respectively upper crossing piece (4, 5) when laying the glass panels engages over the crossing piece (5, 6) of the lower glass panels. <IMAGE>
