PURPOSE:To enable expression of a complicated solid pattern having a superior design in one time of screen printing, by coating the surface of a thin screen with a photosensitive resin, forming recesses on the resin after drying, patternwise exposing it, and removing the unexposed parts. CONSTITUTION:A thin screen 2 of a metal, synthetic resin, or the like is stretched on a frame 1. The photosensitive resin is thickly applied to the screen to form a resin film 3. The recesses 4 are formed on the resin 3 by shaving or pressure molding. This photosensitive resin is exposed to UV rays or the like in a desired pattern to harden the exposed parts, and the unexposed parts are removed with water or an org. solvent to obtain a screen plate partially different in thickness. This plate consists of thin coats 5 and thick coats 6. This plate is brought into contact with a base 7, a synthetic resin coating material is cast and rubbed in with a squeegee. A very complicated solid pattern consisting of very thick parts 8 formed with the thick coats 6 and parts 9 formed between the coats 6 and 5, etc. is obtained by such a printing method. |
