PURPOSE:To collect peripheral equipment information easily with high reliability by transmitting the selection signal for an input/output controller through a loop where plural input/output controllers are connected in series on farther- terminal return basis. CONSTITUTION:Pieces of information on peripheral equipments are sent out of a channel CH500 in the order of input/output controllers IOCs 610 and 620 starting with the nearest IOC 600. Then when a select-out signal SEO is outputted from the CH500 after information PE is sent out of a farther-terminal IOC630, FFs of all IOs are set, so the signal SEO is sent back from the farther terminal as a selection input signal SEB as it is. Further, the signal SEO is returned as a select-in signal SEI to the CH500 through logical circuits of respective IOCs. When the CH500 receives the signal SEI, the CH500 causes interruption to a CPU100 to complete the collection of the information PE. |
