PURPOSE:To prevent engine stall likely to occur when, for ex., the final stage is to be cut off in power steering, by setting the section area of by-pass suction line larger than the study value calculated and stored during feedback control, while the operation is performed at a low temp. and outside the feedback control range. CONSTITUTION:A solenoid-operated air control valve 7 is furnished to adjust the section area of by-pass suction line 6 as detour for the throttle valve 4. Feedback control of EACV of idle speed control of control circuit 10 is made when the specified feedback conditions are met by parameters to represent engine's operating condition, i.e. signals from a water temp. sensor 8, throttle sensor 5, air-conditioner switch 13, car speed sensor 14, etc. While operation is made out of feedback control at a water temp. of 70 deg.C for ex., the EACV 7 is driven greatly toward the open side from the study value obtained during the feedback control, and therefore the section area of by-pass suction line 6 is enlarged. |
