MAGNETIC RECORDING AND REPRODUCING DEVICE OF VIDEO SIGNAL

PURPOSE:To improve the S/N as well as the using efficiency of the band width, by providing an emphasizer for upper band wave of the 2nd modulated wave to a recording circuit and a suppressor having adverse characteristics to a reproducing circuit respectively. CONSTITUTION:The 1st and the 2nd video signals are applied to input signals 21 and 22 respectively. The central frequency f1 of the 1st molulated wave is set higher than the center frequency f2 of the 2nd modulated wave. Thus the lower band wave of the 1st modulated wave does not overlap the upper band wave of the 2nd modulated wave. A frequency multiplexed mixture wave is recorded by a magnetic head 29 at the allocation where a frequency f1-2f2 is set between frequencies f1 and f2. Then the mixture wave is reproduced by a magnetic head 30. An emphasizer 38 is provided to a recording circuit system to emphasizes the upper band wave of the 2nd modulated wave. While a suppressor 39 of adverse characteristics is provided to a reproducing circuit system. The emphasizer 38 is formed with connecting a parallel circuit of a series circuit consisting of a resistance 43, a capacitor 48 and an inductance 50 to the emitter of a transistor 40.
