ARTIFICIAL CRYSTALLINE LENS

An artificial crystalline lens is shaped as a lens (2) provided with a supporting element (4) and a fastening element (3). The fastening element is essentially a wire angle (3) held at its ends to the lens lateral surface (6), while the supporting element (4) is situated on a diametrically opposite side of the lens. The vertex (9) of the fastening wire angle lies on a line passing through the midpoint of the supporting element and the centre of the lens (2). The aforesaid supporting element is made of an elastic wire so as to render it possible to adjust the distance from the centre of the lens to the supporting wire element.
