<p>Epoxy resin compositions cured by means of a polyoxyalkylenediamine biguanide salt of the formula:

wherein C is carbon, N is nitrogen, H is hydrogen, @ is 1 to 3, A is a chloride, bromide, sulfate or phosphate anion and R is a group having the formula:
@-CH(CH3)CH2[OCH2CH(CH3)]x-- or -[CH(CH3)CH2O]y(CH2CH2O)2[CH2CH(CH3)O]y-1<-> CH2CH(CH3)-
wherein x is 5 to 45, preferably 10 to 35, y is 1 to 5, and z is 5 to 50, have unexpectedly superior properties, such as adhesive strength, flexability, impact strength, elongation and peel strength. </p> |
