<p>PURPOSE:To avoid the head cut of a tape, by providing a brake mechanism to a reel base of the tape feed side to release the lock in response to the press contact between the tape and a head. CONSTITUTION:A head 3 is set at the position receding from the tape surface together with a head plate 4 when a pack is injected. As a result, a slide plate 5 connected to the plate 4 also recedes toward A and a rotary link 9 at the tip of the plate 5 is pulled to a reel base 2 of the tape feed side. Then a stopper 15 of the link 9 engages with a ratchet 16, and the base 2 is locked and cannot turn in the tape supply direction. Under such conditions, if a pack is put into a tape player, a motor starts its revolution. Thus a reel base 1 of the tape take-up side starts its revolution, and the pack is loaded at the reproducing position of the tape player. The take-up side reel receives the revolving power, and therefore the tape is taken up by an amount equivalent to a tape sag if any within the pack.</p> |
