<p>A drill including a frame and sowing coulters disposed on the frame in a vertically pivotable manner, such sowing coulters being individually connected to the frame by resilient members which act upon the sowing coulters in the direction of the soil, the tension of such resilient members being adjustable by a central adjusting means in order to achieve a uniform depth for the sowing coulters. To control the depth of the sowing coulters of drills in an automatic manner in dependence upon the soil conditions, so that a uniform depth is ensured for the sowing coulters, a measuring arrangement (25) is disposed on the drill to measure the depth (T) of the sowing coulters (9), and such measuring apparatus (25) is connected to the central adjusting means (17). <IMAGE></p> |
