PURPOSE:To permit adequate transfer of samples to a sample sticking position by providing a sample housing vessel in which plural sample trays are stacked and housed above and below and a sample transferring mechanism which transfers the sample tray in the lowermost position to the sample sticking position. CONSTITUTION:This sample supplying device is provided with the sample housing vessel 3' and the transferring mechanism consisting of a pair of right and left sample feeding levers 20, etc. The many sample trays 1' are successively inserted from an upper aperture 3'a into the vessel 3' and are stacked therein. A driving pin 21 is disengaged from an upper lever 16 and the top ends 21b of the levers 20 ascend to engage with the engaging holes 1'c of the sample tray 1' in the lowermost position when a disk 22 is rotated. The top ends 2b move to a forward dead point position (b) in succession thereto and therefore, the sample tray 1' in the lowermost position is moved forward until the recess 1'a for dispensing the sample arrives at the sample sticking position A by passing the front aperture 3'b of the vessel 3'. The rear part of the sample tray 1' remains in the vessel 3' in this stage. Then the top ends 20b move to the backward dead point position and therefore, the sample tray 1' with which the sticking of the sample ends is moved backward by passing the rear aperture 3'c of the vessel 3'.
