<p>PURPOSE:To ensure favorable heat releasing, by using a metallic base and using a resin layer as an insulating layer on the surface of the base. CONSTITUTION:A substrate 1 comprising a metallic base 11 as a base material is produced by laminating an insulating resin layer 12 on the entire surface of the metallic base 11 formed of aluminum or the like and laminating an elongate conductor layer 13 and finely fabricated conductor foils 14 thereon. A light-emitting diode array 2 fixed on the conductor layer 13 of the substrate 1 comprises a plurality of light-emitting diodes arranged over the main scanning length of an optical printer, a plurality of light-emitting regions 21 being arranged on the surface thereof at regular intervals and wired to the conductor foils 14 by wire bonding or the like. Driving elements 3 for the LED array 2 are provided on the substrate and are wired, as required. Accordingly, heat can be efficiently propagated through the insulating layer to be released at the metallic base, and delamination of the insulating layer or the conductive foils or the like liable to occur on the metallic base can be prevented from occurring.</p> |
