A flame retardant polycarbonate resin composition comprising a polycarbonate resin and a nuclear substituted benzoic acid containing at least one substituent selected from the group consisting of a hydroxyl group, a mercapto group, an amino group and a formyl group. The nuclear substituted benzoic acid has an excellent heat-stability.
