<p>AUTOMATIC INTERMODULATION DISTORTION ANALYZER A distortion analyzer is disclosed which automatically measures intermodulation distortion according to the SMPTE-IM method. Variations caused by gain or attenuation as function of frequency in the device under test are automatically compensated. This automation is accomplished by sensing the carrier level of the SMPTE-IM test signal and using this information in an automatic level control loop formed with a voltage controlled amplifier earlier in the signal processing path.</p> |
