PURPOSE:To offer a compact device in size and yet simple in structure capable of making the tip of a preceding sheet of roll paper withdrawable automatically as far as a certain stroke with a cam used in time of paper selection, in case of such one feeding paper of one piece selectively among the plural number of roll paper and being sheared by a cutter. CONSTITUTION:A device bearing the above caption feeds paper either of two types of roll paper 1 or 101 along a baffle 8 by rotation of drive rollers 2 and 102 and cuts off the paper with a combination of a rotary cutter 4 and a stationary cutter 5. In this case, cams 600 and 700 are solidly installed in each of shafts 62 and 72 of these rollers 2 and 102, while brakes 61 and 71 are installed in the same manner. These brakes 61 and 71 are set down to a state of shaft braking in time of nonrotation in these shafts 62 and 72 are rotate these shafts 62 and 72 to the left by dint of springs 63 and 73. In addition, links 65 and 75 are pivotally attached to each of these brakes 61 and 71 which make a latch 67 so as to selectively engage notch parts 65b and 75b of the other end of said links 65 and 75 as they travel to the right by motion of cams 600 and 700 aforesaid. |
