PURPOSE:To enable life judgement, to clear an exchange time and to achieve reliability enhancement, by a method wherein a pulse current having a pulse width of 0.1-0.5ms is flowed to a battery for a short time and the change of terminal voltage is detected in an amplified state. CONSTITUTION:A multi-vibrator IC1 is oscillated for a definite time by the periodic signal of a longtime timer T and a transistor Q1 is operated by the output thereof to intermittently discharge a battery B1. Because voltage variation proportional to internal resistance appears to the terminal of the battery B1 at this time, this variation is amplified by an amplifier IC2 and, when the output peak voltage thereof exceeds a set value, the output of a comparator IC3 comes to 0V while a transistor Q2 and a thyristor SCR1 are turned on and a life display lamp D1 is lighted to inform the deterioration of the battery B1. |
