PURPOSE:To achieve a higher accuracy by arranging a circular drawn section using a disc adopted as throttle mechanism and a straightening vane on the inflow side before the disc to minimize the effect of dynamic pressure and vortex flow while the throttle mechanism is integrated with a differential pressure converter. CONSTITUTION:A fluid to be measured is introduced into a hollow cylinder 1 from an inflow port 2 and reaches an outflow port 3 passing through the disc 5 and a circular throttle section Th via openings 13' of the straightening vane 13. At this point, pressures P1 and P2 generated before and after the throttle disc 5 each work on diaphragms 9 and 9' so that a shaft 7 fixing the diaphragms directs force toward either the upstream or the downstream. This force is measured with a strain gage 14, output of which is introduced into a flow rate indicator section with a lead. |
