PURPOSE:A solid cosmetic, prepared by compression molding a nodular base material and a main agent having a different hue or a powdery base material and a nodular main agent having a different hue simultaneousy without damaging the nodular state, and useful for eye shadow, etc. capable of giving a free hue or delicate change in hue. CONSTITUTION:A cosmetic, prepared by compression molding a base material 1 of a powdery pigment or in a nodular form prepared by binding the powdery pigment with a binder and a main agent 2 prepared by binding a powdery pigment having a hue different from that of the above-mentioned pigment with a binder in the same vessel 3 simultaneously without damaging the nodular state thereof, and useful for a solid cosmetic, e.g. a cheek rouge or solid face powder, etc. used by application to the skin. There is no particular requirement for the shape or size of the main agent 2 and the base material 1, etc., but a large nodular grain size thereof provides the aimed cosmetic having a totally optional hue by adjusting freely the sliding with a puff, etc. On the other hand, a small grain size of the main agent 2 increases the degree of mixed color and may represent a delicate change in hue.
