<p>Hollow packages made from sheet folded and creased prior to being doubled back so that the resulting tube is stiffened by a combination of flat panels and of dimples having a curvature opposing the general form of the tube. Pref. the contents (bottles) are mounted between moulded plugs and the pack is finally enclosed with a shrink wrap film. The inherent stiffness of the folded shape allows thinner walled packs to be used, saving weight and space. From any direction, most of the adjacent surfaces (and markings) can be seen, facilitating identification in storage.</p> |
