摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a heat-transfer recording material having a high lipophilic property, and a high heat sensitivity and capable of recording digital image signals with a high sensitivity by combining a supply sheet provided with a heat transfer layer containing a formazan derivative with a receiving sheet containing zinc oxide. CONSTITUTION:A heat transfer layer containing a formazan derivative of the formula (where R1 and R3 are each 2-pyridyl, 2-thiazolyl, 2-benzothiazolyl, 2- thienyl, 2-furil, phenyl or a substituted phenyl group, and R2 is 2-pyridyl, 2- thiazolyl, 2-benzothiaxolyl, 2-thienyl, 2-furil, phenyl, a substituted phenyl or a 1-4C alkyl) is provided on a supplied sheet. The supply sheet is combined with a receiving sheet provided with a recording layer containing zinc oxide for receiving and recording a transfer substance by heat of the heat transfer layer on a supporter. The formazan derivative of the formula is a compound with a substituted phenyl or hetero-ring as preferably R3 of R1 and R3 in the formula. When the formazan derivative is heated with zinc oxide, a highly lipophilic chelate is formed and colored. The chelate picture thus formed exhibits a higher lipophilic property and a stronger fixity than transferred pictures obtained from the conventional transfer type recording materials.
