PURPOSE:To prepare a colorful and appealing multi-color laminated KONJAK (paste made from the starch of the devil's-tongue), by extruding plural KONJAK raw materials colored to desired colors, laminating the extruded sheets, and coagulating the laminate. CONSTITUTION:A viscous raw material having desired color is prepared by adding raw KONJAK powder, calcium hydroxide and a natural pigment [e.g. laver, etc. for green coloring, mustard for red, and HIJIKI (a kind of brown algae, Hizikia fusiforme) for black] to water of about 10 deg.C, and mixing the dispersion. The viscous raw materials having various colors are charged into the hoppers 7 separately, and transferred to the vessel 10 at a constant rate through the pumps 8 and pipes 9. The integrated multi-color viscous raw materials 11 is taken out of the vessel 10, and coagulated by putting into hot water of about 80 deg.C for about 10hr to obtain the objective multi-color laminated KONJAK. |
