摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent zeolite from deteriorating as well as to promote activation of the zeolite owing to exothermicity out of a heater and perform the activation so speedily, by installing a regenerator filled up with the zeolite in an exhaust pipe side by side, and performing heat exchange via a heat transfer device. CONSTITUTION:At the time of engine starting, a control valve is opened, water in a feed water tank is fed to a water humidifier, and water is vaporized or pulverized, then it is dispersed in the air of an air passage 32. And, the dispersed moisture is uniformly fed to a regenerator 28, making it contact with zeolite 27, and air is warmed up as specified by heat radiation out of the zeolite 27, thus the inside of a car room is properly heated. At the time of car running, heat exchange between exhaust gas and the zeolite 27 is carried out via a heat pipe 30, and the moisture is separated from the zeolite 27, while heat energy is accumulated. And, when the exhaust gas is low temperature, dump power of a generator 23 is passed through a sheath heater 35, and with its heat generation, activation of the zeolite 27 is accelerated.
