PURPOSE:To secure the safe driving, by keeping a light ON in case that when an accelerator is stepped on and an output is not issued from a car speed sensor for a prescribed period, it is judged that thereafter the state is abnormal. CONSTITUTION:The car speed sensor 2 or an accelerator sensor 3 can judge that the car is running, and only if a light sensor 1 judges that the outside illumination is at or below a predetermined illumination, a light is kept ON. In the case where an output from the accelerator 3 is obtained, showing the stepping operation is ON, and an output from the car speed sensor 2 is obtained for a prescribed period, showing the car is running, it is judged that something abnormal has occurred, and to secure the safe driving, the light is kept ON even after the accelerator is released in case something abnormal has happened in the system of the car speed sensor 2 while the accelerator is stepped on. |
