PURPOSE:To reduce the inserting resistance of a coil and to prevent the coil from being engaged by sequentially inserting coils of respective phases into the slot of a stator core, inserting a molding blade at every inserting time to form a coil end. CONSTITUTION:A stator core 10 is secured to a bearer 4, a coil inserting jig 2 is moved oppositely thereto to insert a coil 14, a coil forming jig 3 is then opposed to form a coil end 11. At this time the jig 3 is formed of a jig body 3a and a shaping blade 19 engaged with and projected from the outer periphery, the blade 19 is inserted into the slot 15, to which coil 14 of each phase is not inserted, and a device is formed to automatically repeat the operation, thereby performing the forming work. Accordingly, the inserting resistance of the coil of next phase can be reduced, and the quality can be improved without clogging. |
