PURPOSE:To improve the mechanical reliability, by constituting a feeding line reaching a feeding point from a feeding input point through the inside of an antenna with a spiral strip line according to a logarithmic curve. CONSTITUTION:A microwave signal is applied between a power feeding input point 7 and a ground plate 1. The impedance of a feeding line 4 is matched with that of an external signal source, then the applied signal is propagated without any reflection on the feeding line 4 having the impedance matched to the input impedance. That is, the impedance of the strip line depends on the specific dielectric constant of a dielectric 2, the thickness of the dielectric 2 and the conductor width of the strip line constituting the feeding line 4. Thus, when the width of the conductor is changed along with the logarithmic curve, the impedance is changed linearly, allowing to keep the matching. Then, the signal reaches a feeding point 5 where the impedance is matched to the irradiating impedance of the antenna. |
