PURPOSE:To perform the program control as a user desires, by dividing the external output signals into plural groups and deciding whether the output is replaced or not for each group. CONSTITUTION:The output data of an output circuit 5 are divided into M units of output groups, and M units of output group flags FG1-FGM are set at a prescribed area of an input/output memory 6 of a programmable controller. Each of these flags is optionally set or reset with execution of a user program. Then it is decided whether the output is replaced or not for the circuit 5 with each output group in accordance with the state of each flag and also whether the outputs are all turned off or not with no replacement of output. In such a way, a program is controlled as a user desires. |
