摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the valve efficiency by forming each refrigerant flow path opening of a rotary valve for exchanging high pressure gas and low pressure gas and a valve board constructing a valve mechanism into rectangular or fan shape thereby increasing the area of the conducting section and reducing the fluid resistance. CONSTITUTION:A gas cycle refrigerator is equipped with a rotary valve 2 for exchanging high pressure gas and low pressure gas and a valve mechanism. Said rotary valve 2 is equipped with a central hole 8, circumferential notch section 9 and low pressure hole 12. The valve board 3 is equipped with a low pressure refrigerant gas discharge port 5, refrigerant gas feed/discharge port 13 to refrigerator and a piston driving feed/discharge port 14. Here the opening of the low pressure hole 12 of the rotary valve 2 is formed into fan-shape while both discharge ports 13, 14 of the valve board 3 is also formed into fan shape. Consequently the conducting section to the low pressure hole 12 and both discharge ports 13, 14 can be increased while the area increasing effect can be increased when the rotary angle parameter is low.
