摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain an amorphous magnetic alloy with low magnetostriction, high corrosion and wear resistances and high thermal stability by preparing an alloy consisting of specified atomic % each of Si, B, C, Co, Mn and other specified element. CONSTITUTION:An amorphous magnetic alloy with -1X10<-6>-+1X10<-6> magnetostriction represented by a formula CoaMnbTMcSidBeCf when expressed in atomic % is prepared. In the formula, TM is one or more among Nb, Mo, Cr, Ti, Ru, Rh and Ni, 6<=b<=12, 0<=c<=5, 5<=d<=16, 8<=e<=20, 0<=f<=5 and a=100- b-c-d-e-f. The amorphous alloy having said composition is obtd. by very rapidly cooling a molten alloy on a rotating roll, and it is suitable for use as the material of a magnetic core.
