<p>Plant-promoting preparations with controlled-start plant-promoting agent release, especially fertiliser preparations with controlled-start nutrient release, characterised in that the preparations containing the plant-promoting agent enveloped in an enveloping agent selected from water-repellent substances, substances that are sparingly soluble in water and substances capable of swelling in water.
