PURPOSE:To eliminate the generation of uneven descaling in the width direction of a steel sheet by dividing a high pressure water chamber for descaling to plural chambers, and controlling adequately the pressure of the high pressure water to each chamber according to the descaling performance of the oxide film of the steel sheet. CONSTITUTION:A high pressure water chamber 2 is divided to chambers I , II, III, IV, V by means of partition walls (a), (b), (c), (d) in descaling of a steel sheet by wet blasting. The chambers I and V, and the chambers II and IV exhibit roughly the same descaling performance according to the descaling pattern of the oxide film of the steel and therefore the chambers are divided to three blocks, (A), (B), (C) in the final, and pressure control valves A, B, C are installed to the respective blocks. These valves A, B, C are discretely adjusted in conformity with the descaling conditions in the width direction of the steel plate. The uniform descaling in the width direction is thus accomplished. |
