PURPOSE:To fix a pipe by making an end plate light and reducing a finish man- hour, by spreading out a pipe end part by making the end plate a boundary, and making it press-contact with both side edge parts of a through-hole by the force acting along the axial direction of the pipe. CONSTITUTION:When a piston rod 15 is led in, a tapered ring 12 is pushed by a force ring 14, moves on the outside circumferential face of a tapered sleeve 11a, spreads out the inside face of a metallic pipe 2, and a spread-out part 2a is formed. As a result, the pipe 2 is clamped between the inside diameter edge part of the inside of a through-hole of the end plate 1 and the end edge part of the tapered ring 12. When the rod 15 is further led in, a movable member 11 is pushed into the pipe 2 by setting the outside end face of the tapered ring 12 and the inside of the end plate 1 to a start point of force, the end face of the pipe 2 is flared by a flare ring 11C, and a spread-out part 2b is formed. When oil pressure is further applied, the pipe 2 is clamped to the end plate 1 in the axial direction and is sealed up tightly. |
